The working principle is based on magnetic attraction.

1. Material Conveying

Bulk material travels continuously on a conveyor belt.

2. Magnetic Field

The suspension magnet is positioned above the conveyor.

3. Ferrous Material Attraction

Ferromagnetic particles within the material stream are attracted toward the magnetic field.

4. Magnetic Material Capture

Suitable iron and steel particles are held against the magnetic surface.

5. Material Continues Forward

The non-magnetic portion of the material continues along its normal conveying path.

6. Magnetic Cleaning

The captured material is periodically removed from the magnet manually or by the selected cleaning arrangement.

This provides an additional magnetic separation stage without requiring major changes to the conveyor system.
