What is the difference between a drum separator and a roller separator?

A drum separator is generally designed for continuous bulk-material separation and magnetic material retention around a rotating drum. A roller separator uses a magnetic roller and controlled material trajectory and is often used where more precise dry separation of magnetic and non-magnetic fractions is required.
